Students in Year 9 continue to follow the four areas that encompass
all the key elements of the National Curriculum.

This is achieved through involvement in a programme of:

Netball, Football, Badminton, Basketball, Rounders, Cricket
and Tennis |

Street Dance, Rock and Roll |
Swimming - |

Stroke Technique, Personal Survival, Life saving and Water
Polo |
Trampolining - |

Set Moves and Advanced Routines |
Athletics - |

Track and Field |
The students also have the opportunity to study a variety of sports
in greater depth
The students are encouraged to monitor and record their own performance
and are responsible with the guidance of their teachers to set their
next target. The National Curriculum Target for the end of Key Stage
3 is 5/6, which the majority of the students achieve, with the more
gifted and able students exceeding Level 7.
We have a range of lunchtime clubs, extra-curricular activities
and teams which include:
Dance, Netball, Football, Badminton, Basketball, Trampolining, Swimming,
Rounders, Judo, Karate, Self Defence, Water Polo, Fencing, Athletics,
Tennis, Hockey and Cricket. |
