Course Notes |
Following on from their work in Science at primary school,
students are introduced to laboratory work early in September. The
emphasis is on safety and we explore the range of equipment and facilities
available. They continue to develop the unique scientific skills of
hypothesising and experimenting to test their ideas and solve problems.
Year 7 work is broken down into modules which encourage students
to ask questions.

|
acids and alkalis, dissolving, particle model of matter. |
Particle & properties |
|
chemical reactions, including burning and word equations. |
Cells and sex |
